MY FAMILY COACH
During this project I worked as Lead Digital Designer as part of the team working to create a new website for My Family Coach, a platform which aims to provide support and coaching for parents and schools for children and family life. The client required a technical, responsive platform with membership, and e-commerce functionality to allow users to create accounts to access exclusive content and classes.
Create An Account
The most important piece of functionality required for this project was the ability for users to sign up for a free account, which they could log into to access exclusive content hidden to guests with no account. I was heavily involved with this process; from learning the details of the plugins used and setting up the back end process and designing an accessible user experience, to designing the look and feel, creating an easy to follow interface for users to clearly navigate through the site.
Classes & Booking
A key benefit available to registered users is free live online classes. This required the implementation of an events feature and booking functionality, allowing users to reserve a spot, and providing the client with attendance information, for a smooth experience.
Coaching & E-Commerce
The key feature required by the client surrounded their coaching service. Our solution utilises the membership functionality to allow users to seamlessly communicate with coaches, plan sessions that suit both parties, and pay for those sessions in advance using implemented e-commerce functionality. This final step in the our process provides the user with a uniquely generated, one-time Zoom link at the time of their coaching session, allowing for maximum privacy and a secure process for both client and user.
